Asgar Hosein owns and operates FLORIDA NURSING ACADEMY Inc. – DBA – FLORIDA HEALTH INSTITUTE, a private corporation formed under the laws of the State of Florida. HISTORY

The Florida Health Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, was established in June 26 of 2002, and initiated classes on October 23 of 2003. Florida Health Institute was established for Alberto Anzellini in order to provide clear guidance and quality training to individuals who desire skills for successful entrance into a chosen profession in healthcare to English and Spanish speaking students. The institution was established in response to a growing need for trained healthcare providers.

OUR PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Our primary purpose is to provide theoretical, clinical and job-seeking skills, which are integrated into the curriculum to formulate a well-rounded training program. The educational philosophy of the Florida Health Institute is to encourage students to acquire the necessary medical knowledge and skills to become dedicated healthcare providers. We want our students to strive for excellence and to believe with their personal dedication they will be able to be successful in their career of choice. Our career objective for our students is to complete their training and become part of the community medical work force.

INSTITUTIONAL GOALS

As a member of the Florida Health Institute family, we want to establish a single vision for the success of our students. That vision is built upon the mission of the institution. The goals we set are for the accomplishment of that vision. Those goals are as follows:

  • Provide satisfactory support services to students 100% of the time.
  • Maintain a professional atmosphere that students can grow into, and take with them to their place of employment.
  • Have a target of 90% of students who enter, graduate.
  • Have a target of 90% of graduates employed in their field of study.
  • Encourage students to continue their education beyond graduation.

These goals are the foundation of how we measure success. These goals will grow and be assessed for successful achievement. We want our faculty to be an important part of the development of curriculum, goal setting, program assessment and all other aspects of student development.
