We prepare the student in all the areas necessary to enter as an entry-level massage therapist.
You will learn the appropriate techniques for muscle relaxation and solving problems in areas such as the neck, back and sciatic pain, as well as tension related to stress, poor posture and muscle spasms.

Program Description
This program includes 795 Hours of Theory and 780 Lab Hours to provide the student with instruction in therapeutic massage with knowledge of the structure and function of the human body. Training in this program is client-centered and also includes massage practicum, hydrotherapy and spa techniques, muscular activity, mechanics of body movements, most common pathologies and diseases, sports massage, massage law, business practices, and the most current allied modalities.
The laboratory will be performed by the student in the school installations with real patients that come to us, this service is regulated by Chapter 477 of the Florida Statutes and Rule 61G5 of the Florida Administrative Code. Every Student must have a minimum of 50 massages performed to Pass the Externship.
Program Objective
Provide the student with the knowledge and skills required to qualify for employment as an entry level massage therapist. Provide the student with knowledge of the structure and function of the human body, understanding of the use and facts for the most current allied modalities.
Provide the student with the knowledge and techniques to help in specific problems such as neck, back, sciatic pain, relaxation, stress reduction and muscle spasms. Provide the student the opportunity to observe, assist, learn and perform massage services with emphasis on the transition from student to professional. To prepare students for the State of Florida State Board/National Certification Examination for licensure as a Licensed Massage Therapist.
