Program Description
The student begins with General Education Courses and will learn about Fundamental of Mathematic, English Composition, General Psychology, Introduction to Computers and Basic Communication Skills completing 15 credit hours.
Then the student begin with basic modules like anatomy, neurology and Introduction to Physical Therapy completing 19 credits hours, after that they will be ready to continue with clinical modules completing 38 credit hours, giving the necessary skills to make a successful career developing as Physical Therapist.
Program Objective
This program will prepare students for employment as a Physical Therapy Assistant, corrective therapy assistant. This program prepares students for employment in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, private practices or other qualified health agencies.
Graduate will work under the supervision of a physical therapist in the promotion of optimal human health and function through the application of the scientific principles.
