Program Description

The program is of 60 hours of Theory and Laboratory distributed in 2 weeks, and has 3 components that provide students with all the knowledge and skills necessary to performing personal care tasks and general housekeeping and maintenance tasks for patients.

The third component is 30 Hours of practice in our installations of all skills learned in the laboratory setting and put it to practice in simulated clinical situations.

Program Objective

Home health aide certificate programs provide courses on basic medical care, emergency response and housekeeping duties and meet the training requirements needed to work as a home health aide. They also will be learning vital signs like pulse and blood pressure.
